Hitler's Bunker

The bunker where Hitler stayed during the Second World War is located in a clearing in an Ardennes forest in the province of Namur. You can also visit this remarkable memorial site.

In Bruly-de-Pesche, close to the French border, Hitler established his headquarters to coordinate the invasion of France in June 1940.

The site is also known as the Wolfsschlucht and still bears traces of Hitler’s stay. The bunker includes a concrete air-raid shelter accessible through two armoured doors, as well as two Bavarian-style chalets where Hitler and his officers stayed.

Thanks to modern presentation techniques such as touchscreens, video screens, films and educational panels in three languages (French, Dutch and English), the exhibition presents the key information in a clear and accessible way.

You can learn more about the area and even about Hitler’s daily life during his stay in Bruly-de-Pesche. Another part of the site is dedicated to the lives of local residents during the occupation, between 1940 and 1944. 

The many objects and testimonies from local residents, surviving members of the resistance or their descendants complete the visit.
