Hottolfiades

During the Hottolfiades, the sky above Hotton transforms into a colourful spectacle. Dozens of hot-air balloons from different European countries take off from Île de l’Oneux, right in the centre of Hotton. Especially at sunrise and in the early evening, the balloons create an impressive sight above the Ourthe Valley.

There is plenty to experience on the ground too. During the festival, a variety of activities are organised for all ages, including concerts, children’s entertainment and a craft market. Those who want to experience the adventure for themselves can also book a hot-air balloon flight over the Ardennes.

The Hottolfiades take place on Île de l’Oneux, close to Moulin de Hotton, making the event easily accessible on foot from our holiday park. This makes it easy to combine a stay in the Ardennes with one of Hotton’s most remarkable events.
