Hiking in the Ardennes is already an adventure in itself, but what if you could search for hidden treasures along the way? Put on your hiking boots and download the Geocaching app. In Hotton and the nearby villages of the Ardennes, you’ll find plenty of hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Along the way, you’ll pass impressive hills, small streams and lovely spots where you can stop and rest your legs from time to time.

How does it work?

Download the Geocaching app and enter your location. Using a digital compass, you can then start searching for the hidden treasures. The app provides information about the size of the cache and tells you at what height it is hidden. Whoever finds the cache first earns a point, and at the end of the trip, the person with the most points wins.

And one more thing: don’t forget to bring a pen! Each cache contains a logbook where you can write your name, so the next geocacher knows that you found it too. Happy treasure hunting!
