Ninglinspo

The Ninglinspo is a tributary of the Amblève, near the village of Nonceveux close to Remouchamps in the municipality of Aywaille. It forms the lower course of the Hornay, which rises near the village of Vertbuisson in the municipality of Theux.

The Ninglinspo is Belgium’s only mountain river. It flows through an area that has been protected since 1949 and is renowned for its wild, unspoilt beauty. It is probably one of the most attractive places in the Belgian Ardennes. The natural surroundings are exceptional, with opportunities for a refreshing dip and plenty of beautiful views to enjoy.

The Ninglinspo is approximately 3.5 km long, has an average gradient of 7.5% and descends around 200 metres.
